In 2011, expect to see EPIC making long-term investments in Iraqi youth and starting projects on the ground in Iraq. In the coming months, we’ll be using media and the arts, to build healthy environments in which young people can begin to heal and recover from the trauma, violence, and loss that so many of them have experienced. We’ve launched our new Iraqi Youth and Peacebuilding Initiative because we believe it is young people who have the power to create peace, justice, and prosperity in Iraq.
