Gifts of Appreciated Securities: Often the most economical way to give, gifts of appreciated securities are tax-deductible up to 30 percent of your adjusted gross income in the year of your donation. If your charitable gift of appreciated securities are larger than 30 percent, you may carry the remainder of the deduction forward for up to five years after the year of donation. Furthermore, by giving a gift of appreciated securities, you are saved from paying capital gains taxes on the security’s appreciated value.

Gifts of Real Estate: When you donate a gift of property to EPIC, you can deduct the full fair market value of the property and avoid capital gains tax.

Leave a Legacy: Help perpetuate your commitment to peace in Iraq. Include EPIC in your will. Bequests and life insurance proceeds to EPIC are tax-deductible. Any gift, however large or small, helps express your values and advance our mission.
