The Education for Peace in Iraq Center is dedicated to building a more peaceful, sustainable, democratic society in Iraq. To do this, we enhance understanding so that Iraq’s story can be shared around the world, monitor the crisis on-the-ground to inform better public policy, and provide relief to vulnerable families. Our employees and interns share our vision of a safe and prosperous Iraq for current and future generations.

EPIC is an equal opportunity employer that actively seeks a diverse pool of applicants.

If you are looking for a challenging internship where you will see the results of your work, EPIC is the place for you. We welcome applications from graduate and undergraduate students, and recent grads, who are interested in empowering civil society, promoting peace, and delivering aid to vulnerable populations in Iraq. We highly encourage active dialogue and discussion about topics related to Iraq, the Middle East in general, U.S. foreign policy, and humanitarian relief efforts. Our interns receive as much from the program as they are willing to give.

Our summer 2018 internship positions have been filled. Please check back in July for information about our fall 2018 internship opportunities.
