EPIC seeks a dynamic, qualified, and highly motivated individual to fill the full-time position of Security Reporting Manager, working at EPIC’s field office in Erbil in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

Strong applicants will demonstrate a proven ability in both program development and network management. This position requires: excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic, with Kurdish a plus; strong interpersonal skills; proven tactics and strategies for organizing and implementing special projects; ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail; and an entrepreneurial approach to managing networks, field research, reporting systems, and organizational partnerships in a complex environment.

If you are looking for a challenging internship where you will see the results of your work, EPIC is the place for you. We welcome applications from graduate and undergraduate students, and recent grads, who are interested in empowering civil society, promoting peace, and delivering aid to vulnerable populations in Iraq. We highly encourage active dialogue and discussion about topics related to Iraq, the Middle East in general, U.S. foreign policy, and humanitarian relief efforts. Our interns receive as much from the program as they are willing to give.

Join our team! EPIC is currently accepting applications for two part-time Research and Advocacy intern and one part-time Development and Communications intern. Our Summer 2019 Internship Program will start on May 6, 2019, and it will end on August 30, 2019, and will take place at EPIC’s headquarters office in Washington, DC. The start and end date are flexible. While this is an unpaid internship, limited travel assistance may be available on a case by case basis.
