Show Some Love for Soccer Salam!

Girls Hugging V Day

Today, our Soccer Salam team is in Iraq’s province of Salah ad-Din delivering humanitarian aid to 200 families in the form of blankets, mattresses, medications, and wheelchairs for those who need them. They are joined by some amazing volunteers, including medical students from the University of Tikrit who are providing essential health screenings and basic care.

With each of our team’s journeys, soccer balls and recreational toys for children are distributed whenever possible. The toll that witnessing violence takes on a young person is devastating, but simple gestures of kindness can foster positive long-lasting memories and, for at least a moment, let children live and play as children.

Your donations allow us to conduct our Soccer Salam aid distributions more often – and in the spirit of Valentine’s Day, we invite you to show your love and support of Iraq’s children by donating today.

Please look for a comprehensive update on this week’s Soccer Salam aid distribution in coming days.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
