Welcome to Tent Ed 2.0

It is getting really cold in Iraq.

As aid agencies scramble to provide shelter for two million recently displaced Iraqis and hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees, there are still families and children who have not yet been reached. In a complex humanitarian emergency of this scale, there will always be gaps. That is why right now, more efforts by small, rapid response initiatives like TentEd are urgently needed to help families and children who are at risk of being left out in the cold.

It’s time for TentEd 2.0, and we need your support to help make that possible.

Our goal is to raise $15,000 between now and December 25th! In the spirit of the holidays, I will return to the Kurdistan Region of Iraq in mid-December with the goal of delivering winter supplies and services to vulnerable children who need it the most. At the same time, the trip will be an opportunity to follow up and continue our support of refugee school children in Erbil.

A few months ago, TentEd was a brand new program at EPIC. With your help, over the summer we turned an unproven concept into a successful reality. Despite all the bad news from the region, we made an outsized impact with a relatively small amount of funds. Thank you.

With your support, we will build on those results.

Please donate now.
